| The Ten Plus
Group Ten Plus Textiles was formed in 1991 by ten textile artists from the North West who wanted to work together and promote greater appreciation of embroidery in all its forms. There are currently sixteen members who meet informally to further artistic development and assess projects. The group exhibits twice a year and members also exhibit as individuals. At present, interests range from stitched paper and experimental mixed media to felt-making, quilting and appliqué. Some members teach classes or take workshops and all are happy to undertake commissions. |
